Panel 1: (Desmond is signing to Helen, who is knitting. They are sitting on a sofa)
Desmond: “I’M HUNGRY FOR POPCORN… CAN YOU MAKE IT FOR ME?”

Panel 2: (Helen looks concerned, signing yourself)
Helen: “UM, WHY CAN’T YOU MAKE IT YOURSELF?”

Desmond: “BUT, THIS BAG SHOWS… IT’S A JOB FOR A HEARING PERSON.”

Helen: “OH REALLY!? LET ME SEE THAT!”
