There is another table nearby with a woman and a girl who are looking at Desmond’s table; The woman is smiling and the girl is smiling and pointing at them)
Man 1: “OH WOW! THE LOCAL COLLEGE REFUSES TO GIVE STUDENTS FOREIGN LANGUAGE CREDIT FOR TAKING SIGN LANGUAGE.”
Man 2: “UNBELIEVABLE! SIGN LANGUAGE HAS BEEN PROVEN TO BE A BONA FIDE LANGUAGE.”
Desmond: “YEAH, WHAT DO PEOPLE THINK WE ARE DOING WHEN WE SIGN? PLAYING CHARADES?”
Girl: “LOOK MOMMY, THEY’RE PLAYING CHARADES!”
