There is a cup of coffee by his elbow resting on the table. He is waving the note in the air towards Desmond, smiling with a curious expression. Desmond is holding his phone with one hand, about to drink his cup of coffee with his other hand. He is turning his head to look towards the man with a worried expression, shaking his head)

Note: “IS ASL AN UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE?”

Desmond: “NO.”

Panel 2: (The man is frowning, making a shrugging gesture with his hands, and speaking, looking concerned. Desmond is holding up the note, with a blue pen in his other hand, having edited the note. He is smiling)

Man: “WHY NOT?” 

Note: “IS ASL^ENGLISH AN UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE?”

Panel 3: (The man is writing a note, then looking up in realization with a surprised expression)

Note: “OF COURSE, NOT! THERE’S NO UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE. BECAUSE EACH COUNTRY HAS THEIR OWN…”

Man: “OH!

Panel 4: (The man is holding up a note towards Desmond, holding a pen with his other hand. He appears embarrassed, smiling awkwardly, blushing with his eyes closed. Desmond is smiling with his eyes closed, holding up a cup of coffee with one hand and making a thumbs-up sign with his other hand)

Note: “SO, IT’S THE SAME FOR SIGN LANGUAGE?”

Desmond: “BINGO!”
